James Hawkins is a highly experienced professional
photographer who’s wide portfolio includes portraiture,
formal corporate work, architectural photography and
a wealth of reportage.
James started taking photographs at the age of 12,
served his apprenticeship with the pioneering architectural
photographer Bill Thomas then worked for a major advertising
photography studio.
Returning to Oxford in the mid 80’s, James
joined Oxfam where, after a spell in the darkroom,
he became in-house photographer and travelled the
world on numerous assignments. He now works freelance.
